URGENT PRAYER REQUEST

 

 From the chairman of the Board of Directors:

The State-Line Motorcycle Ministry has an urgent financial situation. Since last 
August (2007) we have lost more than $830.00 per month in support. That loss 
of support and other price increases in the cost of living have put our budget in 
the hole for more than $8000.00 to date. We are doing all that we can to raise 
the level of support and we need you to pray for God's direction for this ministry.

We thank you for your continued support for State-Line Motorcycle Ministry.
We are looking to see how God will supply our needs.

From Glenn Taylor:

Even though we are at a financial low, I have noticed that this year we have had 
more opportunities to get the Gospel out than ever before. Every rally we have 
been to and the ministry of our local church has seen an increase of people 
searching and asking questions about God. Please keep these things also in 
your prayers. We always act on all the opportunities that God sends our way.

Weekend Retreat was Canceled, but...

We had so many people cancel out the day before the retreat, that we 
decided to cancel it. I was feeling bad about it, but as we were able to be 
home for our regular Sunday service. We would not have had a regular 
service at our church because we were all at the retreat. God sent us a new 
visitor that Sunday, which was a real blessing for us. I was also able to attend 
the monthly ABATE meeting that same afternoon, where I serve as the Chaplain. 
To my surprise they had me get up and give a update on our ministry. 
At the end of the meeting three bikers came up and asked me for one of our
ministry cards. As I look back on that weekend, I see how God used the 
canceling of the Retreat and turn the weekend into a blessed time for Him. 
Praise the Lord.

Deals Gap Run

Deals Gap is in TENN. It is also called The Tail Of The Dragon. It has
318 turns in just 11 miles. Many bikers come from all over the country, just to 
ride it. We had 11 bikers show up to ride and what a blessing it was to see so
many. Two were not Christians and several were not living for God. We had
many opportunities to be a witness to the riders, which is what the ride was all 
about.

Pray for Don (salvation) Steve, Thomas, Cindy, Neal,(Spiritual growth)
