Entering A New Year

I am excited to see what God will do this new year. He taught me much last year, showing me that He is in control.  I had some important lessons to learn.

Now we are entering a new year with new lessons to learn as well as new time for my faith to grow. We have some new board members that I believe will by God's grace provide good direction to move SLMM upwards doing what God would have us do.

I want to praise the Lord. In December 2011, we had one of our best months ever financially. God blessed us with gifts totaling $9198.15 which helped us get closer to our budget. Praise God! He continues to show Himself in a big way with SLMM.

Asheville, NC Toy Run

I do not know the number of bikers who showed up, but knowing the size of the parking lot I would say between 3,000 to 4,000. I got to talk with several bikers I know in the Asheville area and have been witnessing to them.

Greenville, SC Toy Run

My wife got to ride with me to this run. We had a great time talking to many bikers and inviting them to our fellowship. A lot of the ABATE members come to this one.  I am the Chaplain for ABATE of Greenville SC, and had good fellowship.

Christmas Fellowship

Our Christmas fellowship was one of the best we ever had. As close as I can figure, we had 20 show up. We had lots of food, fellowship, songs, a Christmas message as well as gifts giving. There were 3 bikers there who were not saved and got a Gospel message. Each year our Christmas fellowships grows, which means we are getting the Word of God out.

1. Pray for Pete, David, Mike, and Ace for salvation
2. Pray for Don to accept Christ
3. Brenda. Continue to pray for her salvation
4. Pray for Garey's mother. She is doing well with her treated for cancer.
5. ABATE will have a Lobby Day Jan.10; pray for opportunities to witness
6. Pray that we get our Banquet together sometime in March or April
