Pictures

There seems to be some confusion about the pictures and the link that I put with each article of our newsletters. Several months ago we started adding a link at the bottom of some of the articles so that you can go to a picture album. The album has pictures of the people we met at the rallies and talked with. We wrote a small paragraph to explain each picture. While you are viewing the newsletter on your computer, just click on the link and it will take you to the album. If you write down the link and can get to a computer, just open the web browser and put the link address in the header column and open it up.

We hope that this new addition will help you pray with greater understanding of our ministry and to see what we are doing at each rally. We also add a small video where we set up our wagon so you can see what is taking place.

I hope this helps clear up some of the confusion.

Toy Runs

In November, we normally attend 3 Toy Runs. This year we only made 2 because of some scheduling conflicts. At the Simpsonville toy run we had the opportunity to witness to a biker who just moved down from PA. We invited him to our church services.

The Anderson toy run was, in one word, wet. We rode through a lot of rain on the trip to Anderson, SC (about 40 miles). Because of the rain and how long it took us to get down, we did not have the time we normally would to meet new bikers and talk with the ones we knew. We did talk with Jimmy (needs salvation) but that was all the time we had. It seemed that God was using us with the ABATE bikers, so we went down to take the opportunity to be a testimony to them.

ABATE Meeting

God is using us to be a testimony to the ABATE members, which for the most part are hard-core bikers. I am the Chaplain of the Greenville chapter and God has been giving me opportunities for me to talk with them about Christ.

I get to pray  as part of the opening ceremonies of the meeting each month, I get to give an update on what we are doing in the ministry and what is coming up that we can invite them to. I do a Chaplain's corner every month in their newsletter as well as have a spot on their website.

All these things give us opportunities to be a witness for Christ.
