Hot Springs Day Run

It turned out to be a good day with only a small amount of rain at the end of the trip. We had 5 bikers show up with one (Don) needing salvation. The best part of the day was that he attended our morning service for the first time. Keep Don and Mary (wife) in your prayers. We also had the chance to talk with a biker at one of the gas stops.

On the way home we went by Hendersonville, NC and found some old biker friends that now live on the coast of NC. We had a great time of fellowship together. We had not seen them for 3 years.

Sunday Services

We have not only had some visitors since we put the sign up, but we have had 3 of them start coming on a regular basis. We are praising the Lord and looking forward to see how God will work in these people's lives.

This last Sunday we had two new bikers attend, one is saved (Steve) who needs to get back in fellowship with God, and the other (Bruce) - I do not know anything about him.

After Church Fellowship

Fred lives at a condo complex with a pool and wanted to host a cook out for us after church. We had 9 attend. One was a first time visitor (Chuck, not saved) who came to our service and then came to our cook out. We had 3 unsaved there, and had a good time getting to know them and plant the seeds of the gospel.

Chesnee Run

Once a year, Chesnee, SC, hosts an antique rally on a Sunday. We left right after church and rode up there. Four of us went together, two were first time visitors at our service. While at the rally, we met several bikers from our home town and talked with them.

What is always neat is that every time we go some place, someone introduces me to a new biker and they always introduce me as "ABATE Preacher, or he is a Preacher, or my Pastor" which gives us opportunities to ask questions about them with the hope that we will be able to witness to them.
