Biketoberfest

Biketoberfest is held in Daytona Beach, Florida each year in the month of October. The weather was good the whole week we were there. We had been praying a lot to be used by God during this time. Well, God answered our prayers and we had many opportunities to witness! Bikers in need took 90% of the Bibles and study books we had!

We were able to lead Don to the Lord. We witnessed to him Thursday morning on Main St. where we set up and left him with a tract to read. We met with him again on Saturday morning and led him to Christ. Don stopped back by before he left and we were able to give him some books to study and would help to ground him in the Word. We also got his phone number and address to help us to reach him in the future. We want him to help him find a good local church to attend.

We met a couple that had been caught up in the hard-core bike gangs for many years, but were saved out of that lifestyle. They gave such a good testimony of how God has saved them and how they have grown in the Lord.

Prayer Requests

1. Don, who was led to Christ, that he will grow in grace.
2. God will touch the hearts of those we witnessed to, and for those who picked up our Literature
3. Upcoming Toy runs from Nov.- Dec. Opportunities to witness
4. Two Churches considering us for support
6. Pray for those who come to our church. We would like them to find a place to minister.

Last minute Update (Biketoberfest)

We received a call from Allen who lives in Jacksonville, FL. We had met at Biketoberfest as he stopped by to talk with us, and picked up some books (Basic for Believers and the Wonder Book). We talked for a while before he left to catch up with his group. Jim was one of the bikers in that group, and he gave him a Basic for Believers and a Wonder Book to read. Several days later after reading the books, Jim calls Allen and wanted to get saved so Allen leads Jim to Christ.

Allen then goes on another run later in Jacksonville, FL and has the opportunity to talk with Scott who also needed Christ. He saw that Scott had problems, so he witnessed to him and led him to Christ.

Allen then calls us to tell us how God had used him and asks if we can help him and some others to start some type of biker ministry down there! He likes what we are doing and the books we use. Please make this a matter of prayer, that God will use us to help Allen and his friends to get started in a ministry. Pray for Jim and Scott who got saved

What a blessing to see God use us and our Literature.

Possible Change (Newsletter)

We have been thinking how we could improve the Newsletter for a long time now. We have come up with an idea.

We are thinking of hosting the Newsletter on our Website. One, we will be able to put pictures to some of the articles we write. Secondly, It will make it easier for us to just send out a link in a email so you can just hit the link to go to the Newsletter. Thirdly, it will help us edit the newsletter easier. We also plan to archive all the old Newsletters on the Website as well.

Please email us or call and let us know what you think of our possible change. We need to hear from all of you about this as soon as possible.
