God knows how easily it is for us to forget what Christ did for us and how grateful we should be every day.

1 Corinthians 11:26 King James Version (KJV)

For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.

If you are saved today, it’s because somebody was an Ambassador for Christ and shared the gospel with you. -- Steve Wagner, former Pastor (retired) of Fellowship Baptist Church in Salisbury, Maryland.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 King James Version (KJV)

17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

There are three responsibilities that God gives us as Christians. They are: the command, the confidence, and the comparison.

Matthew 7:7-11 King James Version (KJV)

7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 9Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Weakness can be a good thing. God wants us to Glory in our Weakness and the Apostle Pauls shows us how.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10 King James Version (KJV)

7And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

1 Samuel 23:7 King James Version (KJV)

And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God hath delivered him into mine hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that hath gates and bars.

Even when belief in a loved one’s goodness or repentance is shattered, love still hopes.

1 Corinthians 13:7 King James Version (KJV)

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

If you have enough understanding and love, then every moment—whether it’s spent making breakfast, driving the car, watering the garden, or doing anything else in your day—can be a moment of joy. Sometimes we want to change too much and it takes us down when we can’t put it all together.

1 Corinthians 13:7 King James Version (KJV)

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Communion or the Lord’s Supper is a time in which we break bread and drink grape juice together to remember Christ’s sacrifice for us. The early church began to make this a regular practice at a service called Mass in which the Lord’s Supper was practiced.

Luke 2:8-10 King James Version (KJV)

8And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

We need to put everything we do at Christmas into its proper prospective. This morning, we’ll provide some historical background about the Christmas tree we all put up at Christmas.

Romans 5:8 King James Version (KJV)

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Many people will miss Christmas this year because they do not know Christ. There will be some Christians that will miss the meaning of Christmas this year because they do not really have fellowship with Him.

John 1:10-12 King James Version (KJV)

10AndChrist was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
