Rolling Thunder Rally

Other than the crowds down a bit and the bad weather coming up on Friday, the rally turned out to be a blessing. I had several opportunities to witness even though the crowds on Saturday were down. It did pickup on Sunday with many bikers stopping by to talk or just to pick up tracts, Bibles, or study books.  Between the bad weather and the low turn out, God blessed, and hundreds of bikers heard the Gospel and received His Word.

I witnessed to Pete from Hendersonville, NC. He left with a tract to study and said he would call back. He even took the time to call me that night at the hotel. He is to call me back in a week to talk more about salvation. I witnessed to Ace from Black Mountain, NC and David from GA. Keep them in prayer for salvation. I also had a good talk with Howard and Brian from MD. They were saved.

There were extra blessings for me personally from the rally.  While I was setting up,  Jim from Virginia who got his life right with God 5 years earlier because of our ministry came by to spend the day with me. It was a blessing to fellowship with him after all these years. Before he left he gave me a check to be used for me personally for $500.00.  He told me anyone who would come up in that bad weather to witness for God deserves it as God surely was leading.  It happened that we needed new tires for our car and were going to charge them since we did not have the money.  Now God not only supplied the money to pay for them, but he provided them at a discount through a friend. God continues to show Himself in a great way as we serve Him.

We are still waiting on God to show us were He wants us. We have been taking to several people with vacant spaces. Our place right now has been extended until the end of June.

Abate Run

It was a good day for a ride. I went praying that I would have an opportunity to witness to Don. He showed up, and I did get to talk with him. He knows his need for Christ, but something is holding him back. We need to keep him in our prayers. I also met some bikers that I am just getting to know and look forward to witnessing to them.

Prayer Requests

1. We applied for a Grant. Pray that we will get it.
2. Pray for Pete, David, and Ace for salvation.
3. We need prayer for a new place to have our services.
4. Pray for Don to accept Christ.
5. We need to straighten out some paper work for IRS.  Pray IRS will act quickly.
