Bike Week Daytona Beach

I never made it to Bike Week last month. My wife came down with a viral infection (Friday morning, the weekend I was to leave) that ended up keeping her in bed for a week. I was to leave on that Sunday to go to Daytona Beach, FL for Bike Week. Saturday night I came down with the same thing, and it put me in bed as well.

We had to pay $783.75 for the place where we were going to stay for the week even though we did not go.  $300.00 came in to pay that bill. What a blessing that was. We still need $483.75 to pay the whole bill.

Cherokee Rally

Dean and I spent 3 days setting up at the Harley Davidson shop in Cherokee, NC. Friday was slow, but nevertheless, we had a good opportunity to witness to JP from Canada. He said he was an atheist, and before he left told me that maybe he is not a good atheist. Saturday a lot more bikers showed up and took more of our tracts and Bibles. Sunday we had a chance to witness to those who work in the Harley Davidson shop.

God blessed us with enough money given to us to cover our expenses for the rally. I am praising God for the way He continues to take care of us.

Upcoming Rallies

Please pray for each upcoming rally. We want to see souls saved and help those who are out of fellowship with God. We praise God for the money which came in for the other rallies which we have attended so far.

Our next rally is the Rolling Thunder Rally on May 22-26. It will cost $477.00.

Banquet

We had a low turn out this year because we started so late (lesson learned), but at the same time with those who came God blessed. We raised half of our money needed to make up the rest of our budget for the year. We needed 15,000.00 and 7,000.00 came in. If you are led by God to help raise the rest, just send it to our address below or go to our website with a credit card.

We had Pastor Danny Brooks of my home supporting church speak (Heritage Bible Church) and Pastor Jim Cannon (Faith Bible Fellowship).

Prayer Requests

1. Continue to pray for Rick & his wife. We have not seen them for a while.
2. That we will have many opportunities to witness and see many come to Christ
