Isaiah 53:7, 9 King James Version (KJV)

7He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
9And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Being in the right place is important to us to grow and have the right relationship with God. We must separate from unbelief and worldliness which are unprofitable and harmful to our spiritual well-being.

Ruth 3:1-3 King James Version (KJV)

1Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee? 2And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor. 3Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking.

The Temple of God is not a building made by human hands. The New Testament in the Bible tells us that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit!

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 King James Version (KJV)

19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Luke 1:30-33.35 King James Version (KJV)

30And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. 32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 35And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.

As we learn more about Jesus we find joy is therefore a choice. It centers on our willingness to choose and that choice is centered around Jesus!

1 John 5:13 King James Version (KJV)

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Both Simeon and Anna waited faithfully in the Temple for years in the hope that they would see the Savior before they died. What are we waiting for!

Matthew 2:1-11 King James Version (KJV)

1Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. 5And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, 6And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. 7Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, inquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. 8And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. 9When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. 10When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. 11And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

Psalm 34:1-9 King James Version (KJV)

1I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: The humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 3O magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt his name together. 4I sought the LORD, and he heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. 5They looked unto him, and were lightened: And their faces were not ashamed. 6This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. 7The angel of the LORD encampeth Round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. 8O taste and see that the LORD is good: Blessed is the man that trusteth in him. 9O fear the LORD, ye his saints: For there is no want to them that fear him.

Psalms 61:1-8 King James Version (KJV)

1Hear my cry, O God; Attend unto my prayer. 2From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. 3For thou hast been a shelter for me, And a strong tower from the enemy. 4I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. 5For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: Thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. 6Thou wilt prolong the king’s life: And his years as many generations. 7He shall abide before God forever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him. 8So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, That I may daily perform my vows.
